Recent works by Luigi Loquarto

The recent projects of Luigi Loquarto (previously featured on The re:art), from outdoor and indoor murals to ink on paper works, reveal an organic geometry that aligns and offers new forms to natural elements (the land, the sea, the mountains), and highlight the hidden layers of our inner universe and emotions.

Part of this imagery, where few elements suggest the existence of man, as if only a memory in a timeless space of waters and rocks, we find paper planes travelling above these curious landscapes. There is a sense of emptiness strengthen by the black and white choice, but also of playfulness resulting from the paper planes reminding of childhood and the arrangement of elements or the visual metaphors used to enrich the meaning of the works.
