Alina Bohoru: The circle of life
Romanian young visual artist Alina Bohoru was recently in Cluj, where she painted the mural entitled ‘The circle of life’ and also had an intervention on a train car, as part of the Urban Art section of TiMAF, along with other graffiti and street artists.
The idea of her mural revolves around the ‘circle of life’ principle, hence the skull with the plants growing from inside, slowly covering it. As Alina explains, she wanted to explore the anatomical motifs, as well as the plants and flowers elements, to which she added the color palette composed of pink, an ironical twist to the morbid/ macabre theme of the mural.
Surface size: 4-6 x 3,5 m / Duration: 2 days.
