When visiting the recent Erotica show at Art Yourself Gallery, the “Harmonia Mundi” of Laura Baiu caught our attention among others.

Romanian artist Laura Baiu began the “MUNDI” project in 2010, as a rediscovery of the primordial values through symbolic images and their impact on the viewer.

Approaching a controversial theme, yet still contemporary, her project becomes a journey in the search of the “source” and the joy of a perpetual discovery. For the artist, sharing this context with the viewer represents the “essence of life” itself.
