The 2014 theme is “The Best”: “Contemporary society puts you in a condition where you need to be the best or appear to be the best. ‘The best’ people are dressed up with their state-of-the art smartphones, high-class apparel, luxurious automobiles and self-declaration of status. But is this arrogance really ‘The Best’?”
Line-up: Agostino Iacurci, Bisser, David de la Mano, Fikos, Fra.Biancoshock, Gaucholadri (winner of GSA x BLOOP Contest), INTI, Pablo S. Herrero, PeKolejo, Emilio Cejalvo and more.
Here are the first walls part of the Open Air Gallery 2014, including the latest mural from INTI.
INTI – “SANCTUS REALITATEM” / “The subject of the festival was ‘The Best’ … Great opportunity to represent the outcome of one religion imposing itself over the other ones”.
Emilio Cejalvo– work inspired by Venus of Urbino by Titian, 1538 / “The narcissism of the Venus was the best example of ‘THE BEST’ arrogance”.
