Tripoteca 2016 | Highlights
After a tour of 14 countries, Tripoteca psychedelic film & art festival, in partnership with MortociFilm, had their third edition on December 9th and 10th, 2016, at Cinemateca Eforie in Bucharest. The festival presented a diverse selection of 70 short films, animations and music videos in two inspiring sections – Meta-Fun, described as “a roller-coaster of astral humor”, and Introspective Journey, the “seriously insightful gems”. Several highlights below.
In addition, there were live audio-video performances opening the film programme each evening and an exhibition of canvas prints and video installations featuring artists such as Victor Fota with his work Conflicting Metaphysics, Mircea Popescu and Mimi Ciora with a piece from their Hydrophilia series, Bryan Olson, YoAz and many more.
