The illustrations of Harriet Lee-Merrion

Bristol-based illustrator Harriet Lee-Merrion unveils the emotions, dilemmas and thoughts that haunt and confront individuals in different life moments and social situations.

Her minimalist works, with occasional additions of colour, analyze the complexity of human condition, revealing narrations of love, solitude or introspective quests to find the true self, lost under countless masks.

Although approaching such themes, we find interesting that the illustrations offer a state of unusual calmness, a relieving visual experience where you no longer need to be an actor. Temporary left with no role to assume, we become conscious of our existence.
