Digital art by Grégoire A. Meyer
The digital works of London-based visual artist Grégoire A. Meyer reveal interesting distortions of the human form, always ephemeral yet almost tangible, often metallic, as a mirror that reflects complex inner experiences, the meditative state of the mind. They capture the moment when all thoughts and feelings shatter or collide, when time is only present, sheltering both the future and the past for man to gradually reach a higher knowledge.
It seems that we are shown just a fraction from a broader perspective, where decomposition becomes a natural step in the evolution of the human species. The works evoke emotionally thoughtful reactions, but may also suggest that solitude and reflection can act as a powerful force in understanding one’s role and path in life.
