Empty Walls 2014

Empty Walls is an artist-led project focused on contemporary muralism and artistic interventions in the urban environment, aiming to bring colour, culture and vibrancy to the city of Cardiff. Taking part in the project were over 20 local and international artists such as Phlegm, David de la Mano, Hyuro, Zed1 and more.

Empty Walls 2014 took place from September 21st to October 25th, included an exhibition at The Abacus Gallery and offered the people in Cardiff a new perspective of how the public space can be enhanced through art: “By providing a visual alternative to the bombardment of advertisement and highstreet chains, these artists will create a visually arresting city that captivates, questions and inspires”.
