DZO Olivier – The Symbols Explorer
The works of French ‘artiphist’ and ‘symbols explorer’ DZO Olivier, mainly pen and ink drawings, are a mix of styles and techniques, highly-detailed, surrealistic and esoteric.
They are a result of instinct and intuition, rising from a process of chaos turned into harmony, into a consistent cosmos of powerful symbolism, inspired from medieval alchemy and mythology.
There is an interesting vision of life and death, of the relation between man and nature, as the subconscious gradually integrates and defines reality.
