Cyop&Kaf in Girona, Spain / 2014

After introducing you to some of their pieces for Oltre il Muro 2014 and those for Milestone Project, we are now following the recent activity of Italian street artists Cyop&Kaf in Girona, Spain, where they painted a series of silhouettes, reflecting human condition in what seems to be a hostile environment.

We feel that their works are a mirror of today’s oppressive society, where individuals are limited, silenced or no longer free to think, speak or have their own beliefs, rather depending on what they are told, blinded by false dreams and imposed collective mindsets.

In their efforts to open the heart and mind of people, to awake them from their slumber, usually powered by the media, they bring their art to the remotest middle-class or poor districts in Naples, where they are most active, and other cities of the world, constantly adding thought-provoking pieces to their outdoor exhibition, open to the public every day, for free.
