BLOOP Festival 2014 • Ibiza, Spain

From July 20th to August 24th, 2014, BLOOP Festival, the first proactive art festival in the world, returns with a fresh edition of art and music based activities in Ibiza, Spain.

The program includes: the OPEN AIR GALLERY, an outdoor gallery annually adding murals and installations, accessible to everyone for the whole year; BLOOP HQ MUSEUM, a museum of proactive art with interactive installations (Lo Spino, Xavi`s lab, Pineapple Crocodile, Silva Ramacci), a mural by Gaucholadri, photography (Marc Colomines), a plant installation by Montse Nadal and music (Digital Genetic Pasta); THE MERCARTILLO, the first permanent exhibition of art and design of BLOOP Festival, starting August 5th, 2014.

The 2014 theme is “The Best”: “Contemporary society puts you in a condition where you need to be the best or appear to be the best. ‘The best’ people are dressed up with their state-of-the art smartphones, high-class apparel, luxurious automobiles and self-declaration of status. But is this arrogance really ‘The Best’?”
