Aaron Glasson’s alternate universes
The works of artist and global traveler Aaron Glasson, consisting in vibrant murals, mystic paintings and drawings, as well as installations and films, present alternate realities, the intersection and coexistence of enigmatic worlds, unfolding at a subconscious level.
The inner universe becomes a reflection of the Earth and Cosmos, geometric patterns align to bring human forms and rich landscapes to life, while the characters seem to be experiencing a state of deep meditation and revelation, accessing a higher knowledge or engaged in a journey of perpetual (self)discovery, overcoming time and space guided by fantastic creatures resembling animals of the land, ocean and sky.
Besides exploring the planet and documenting his travels, Aaron is also the creative director of PangeaSeed, an international organization collaborating with members of the art, science, and environmental activist communities to raise public awareness and education surrounding the conservation and preservation of sharks and other marine species in peril.
