The works of vivaUltra

The works of Milan-based artist vivaUltra are defined by a sense of absurd, of emptiness and inner void, and sometimes show the unconscious mirage that manifests as a hypnotic intrusion into the reality of his characters, which seem confused, yet captivated by this new encounter.

We also find his characters presented in human-animal hybrid forms, connected to strange machines that act as cages, restricting their moves and controlling even the direction of their gaze. Perhaps his recent works are comments on human condition today, however, what we do know is that vivaUltra is inspired by music. We like, for example, his artworks for the Italian band Gazebo Penguins, for ‘The name is not the named’ CD.
