Recent works by ITI

From the small stickers that one could find while strolling on the streets of Bucharest, the works of ITI have gradually evolved in technique, medium and size, travelling the world at different exhibitions and events in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore or Croatia. Self-taught and focused on conveying powerful messages, ITI has created in the past year enormous pieces on sticker paper inspired by diverse social contexts, has been included in the recent volume of Stickerbomb and started working on canvas.

Despite the constant changes in character design towards a more minimal and direct approach, his preference for silhouettes and his various experiments in adding certain elements or playing with contrasts in both meaning and composition, the themes follow the same interest in today’s human condition, the pressure of contemporary society, social gaps and conflicts, the disconnection with our inner universe that is linked to the lack of judgement in human behavior. Each work is like a puzzle that sheds light on the big picture, which we may be missing from time to time.
