The collages of Mariano Peccinetti
Reinterpreting the geometry of space and recycling the past to generate a dream state of mind, Argentine collage artist Mariano Peccinetti, also known as Trasvorder, opens the portal to another dimension by connecting the infinite of the cosmos and nature to human life.
Depicting “a world that is spread between thick clouds of ambiguity”, where galaxies, mountains and colorful flower fields break the daily routine of his characters, the artist builds contrasts that become the basis of human activities.
The characters are either contemplating the spectacle before them as in a cosmic art gallery, and become part of the scene, transcending reality.
