Once upon a dreamer: Loreta Isac
Romanian artist and designer Loreta Isac studied arts in Iaşi and currently lives and dreams in Bucharest. She likes to introduce her story as “once upon a dreamer” and her journal is a special one, a result of her drawings, paintings, illustrations and design: “It is like collecting frozen moments, a reality that you have to feel in order to understand”. Loreta loves both digital and painting as long as she is able to draw anytime, anywhere, whatever comes to her mind.
She gets her inspiration from all that surrounds her – people, nature, happenings, emotions she cannot explain.
From her list of 1001 reasons why she draws, she mentioned the following: “You never feel like Monday”, “It is like eating dessert first”, “It is like knowing yourself, a perfect beginning of all wisdom”, “Exploration never ends” and “Every mistake looks perfect”.
