Condition @ Athen B. Gallery

Athen B. Gallery is hosting the collaborative group show ‘Condition’ featuring works by Ever, Franco Fasoli – JAZ (interviewed), Troy Lovegates and Zio Ziegler, on view through October 2nd, 2015.

The exhibition reflects human condition, the beliefs, forces, relationships and disconnections, mythology and ideology that shape it, from four different perspectives, each following its own visual discourse.

Either engaged in constant struggle and violence, captured in a state of enchantment under an illusive spell of a powerful symbol that they cannot oppose or cut down by their own will, behavior and blind faith, the human forms and characters revealed through allegories, patterns and metaphors offer a complex view of today’s state of being, the effects of idealization, the bipolarity of the mind, duality of the self and essence of modern civilization, bringing into discussion social issues and mirroring the way we perceive ourselves and interact with the other.
