Ben Zank Photography

The works of New York based young photographer Ben Zank evoke moments of human connection, inner struggles and ambivalence, the sense of solitude and wandering lost in one’s own mind. He often uses self-portrait to explore and highlight certain emotions. But in order to achieve a powerful visual impact, the space where he shoots is of great importance especially for the concepts and themes that he approaches. Thus, we often see him laying on abandon roads, crossing the street in unusual ways or tied up to the trees deep inside the forest.

Surprisingly, Ben Zank has studies in Journalism, in the field of words and objective analysis of reality, while his passion (and obsession, as he once described his interest in photography) reveals a challenging personal vision of what surrounds us, that we invite you to discover in the following selection.
