An update with Alex Baciu
The works of Timișoara-based artist Alex Baciu focus on the intersection of architecture, color and spatial analysis. His paintings and murals are dynamic, complex, full of contrasts, constantly challenging and reversing our common vision of reality.
There are powerful juxtapositions and collisions of elements in his artworks, taking us simultaneously through different dimensions and experiences. He also plays with geometry, that he inserts in nature, and uses symbols of transportation such as boats and cars to carry his new worlds, that he adapts to his pop-surreal approach.
