Slava Triptih brings to light human emotion

With his illustrations and drawings, Russian artist Slava Triptih brings to light some of the deepest human emotions.

A house becomes a metaphor for distant memories, symbols of freedom grow as illusions in captive minds, while the ocean is perceived as a reflection of the water inside our bodies, and a natural connection is set between the two.

The characters silently struggle with solitude, melancholia, paranoia, and other conflicting states, often sober and rarely happy. There is a certain sensibility attached to these works, lifting the veil on reality and the way of perceiving all that surrounds us – the calm before or following the disaster, a mind forever awakened or put to sleep by sometimes too powerful emotions.
