Oltre il Muro 2014

Launched for the first time in 2012 and held in Sapri, Italy, Oltre il Muro street art festival reached its third edition this year, with an impressive guest list that included local and international artists such as Escif, Hyuro, RUN, NemO’s and more.

What we loved most about the festival, which we certainly add on our top favorites from Italy, is their positioning of street art as a creative, public, social, accessible and cultural way to connect with the community and regenerate urban space.

Their initiative resulted in visually bold, varied and thought-provoking murals, ranging from the minimalist and humorous approach of Escif and Hyuro, to the dynamic and vibrant piece of RUN, the powerful messages of NemO’s or the reflective silhouettes of Cyop&Kaf.
