Romanian photographer Iulia Antocica is fascinated by the moods a person or a situation can reflect and captures these elements in her works: “I stare, I observe, I take a picture”.
The selection below gives us the feeling of an overwhelming solitude, a comment on human condition today, and a reflection of man’s walk towards facing what he fears or what he loves. There’s also the impression of a desperate cry for help, of resignation before life, of anxiety and emptiness. And the dark, often black and white choice, with small glimpses of light amplifies this.
